Hugs!

Sometimes you need a hug. Madison is very empathetic and can tell when someone else is needing a hug. She gets sad when others get sad, and laughs when others do. She doesn't need a reason: she just feels for others.

Tonight, Mommy had a little headache. It wasn't anything huge, but it was just enough for her to sit down at the kitchen table and sort of grasp her forehead a moment. Madison saw this, of course, and knew just what to do. Without being asked, she got up into a chair next to Mommy - and gave her a big hug.
